We Fund Magical Vacations for Foster Families

Being a foster family adds a significant financial burden which typically prevents the families from being able to take vacations. Through the generosity of our donors, we fund the trips that these families would otherwise be unable to take.

Family Bonding and Memories

If you have ever taken your family on a fun vacation, then you know how valuable they are for building family bonds and creating lifelong memories. Foster families in particular need these experiences for bonding because of the introduction of foster children into existing biological families.

Escape from Everyday Challenges

Everybody needs the opportunity to take a break from normal everyday life. It gives them the chance to renew themselves mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Who Are We?

We are a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization

Fostering Magic is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to fund vacations for foster families who otherwise would not be able to afford them.

Fostering Magic was founded by Kendal Locklear in 2021. Kendal is a 17 year old Florida high school senior. Since she was young, Kendal has found great joy in visiting theme parks throughout Florida. She was fortunate to have been able to bring family and friends on every trip to create memories she still cherishes to this day. Kendal felt that other kids and families should be able to enjoy the same experiences. In 2021 she officially created Fostering Magic after visiting with several leaders of her local fostering program community.
